What we store
The MVP version of RentCharter does not require an account and does not transmit your rent figures, postcode or notes to a server. The rent assessment is calculated in your browser, and the result is stored locally (using localStorage) so you can move between the results and the evidence pack.
You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser storage, or by running a new check with different details.
Analytics
The MVP runs without third-party analytics. If we add aggregate, privacy-respecting analytics in future, we will list them here and we will not include your rent figures or postcode in any analytics event.

If you email us, we'll only use that information to reply to you. We don't add you to a marketing list.
Future features
When we add accounts, saved reports or community-submitted rents, this page will be updated to explain exactly what is stored, where, and for how long — before those features go live.
